Because no lifeguard is provided swimming off the vessels is at the passengers own risk. Although cruise itinerary is almost always followed as indicated, on occasion due to unforeseen circumstances, such as exceptionally bad weather, (vessels are not permitted to sail when wind force is 6 – 7 Beaufort). The Captain upon whom full responsibility is placed for the safety and comfort of the passengers, may make any required changes, at his discretion. Times of arrival and departure at the various ports of call are given as a guide and we cannot guarantee that they will be strictly adhered to. Omitting a port of call or making required changes in itinerary does not entitle passengers to any claims or refunds. Every step has been taken to insure that the sports facilities on board are in good working order and their failure does not constitute reason for refunds and or additional claims.
The Company reserves the right to cancel any cruise, in which case the full fare, will be refunded. If necessary, itinerary may be changed and vessel substituted before or after commencement of cruise. Fares are established in accordance with the exchange rate and fuel prices at the time of printing and they are subject to change without notice.
After commencement of cruise, should the vessel sustain any breakdown in machinery or be disabled by fire, grounding or collision for more than 48 hours disrupting the cruise itinerary and if no acceptable alternate arrangement or substitute vessel of similar quality is offered, then passenger will be given a proportional refund per diem of paid cruise fare. No further claims will be accepted.
It is further recognized that Zeus Tours & Yacht Cruises ltd. acting, as a broker between the owner companies of the vessels and the passengers/tour operators is a Greek company, the vessels are of Greek registry under the jurisdiction of Greek law. Passengers are advised to purchase a “trip cancellation” policy in case of any unexpected contingencies. Passengers are covered by insurance while cruising. In case of accident or death the maximum liability amount of 145,000 Euro applies. As this amount is the maximum liability of the owners of vessels passengers/tour operators are advised to purchase an individual accident insurance policy as well. Above conditions shall constitute the sole contract between “Zeus Tours & Yacht Cruises ltd.” acting on behalf of the owner of vessels and passengers/tour operators unless otherwise agreed in writing. Zeus Tours & Yacht Cruises reserves the right to replace the vessel on a particular cruise date with a similar vessel providing same accommodation standards and services.
